WHAT CAN WE DO BETTER?

RESPONSIBLE SOURCING

At Jed’s we believe that together we can help to deliver impactful change and be a ‘force for better’. Our ambition is to positively impact people and our planet.

As a proud local brand, we unite Kiwi’s with a great cup of coffee. Our passion for coffee and our deep love for New Zealand drives us to aim for better choices that benefit both environment and community.

Discover our ambitions towards a better future.

We are on our way to achieve responsible sourcing, that means our raw materials, packaging, equipment, or anything we procure, are produced following principles that address their possible social and environmental impact. Sustainability is an evolving  journey and we will continue to evaluate the impact of its operations and adapt to ensure we’re always working to improve our impact on people and planet.  We need you to join us!

We are proud to share that we commit to responsible coffee sourcing by the end of 2025!

CONNECTING PEOPLE

We are local and we stay close to our community, supporting kiwis. Since 2021 we have partnered with the charity - Spirit of Adventure Trust. Over the last 50 years they’ve empowered tens of thousands of young New Zealanders to reach their full potential through the challenge of the sea.

How do we support them? For every participating Jed’s Bean Bag pack purchased, we’re giving back 20 cents to the Spirit of Adventure Trust to continue to help young kiwis explore the adventure of a lifetime.

RECYCLING

CAPSULES

At Jed’s we love great coffee and want you to love it to. Our capsules are packed in Aluminium, which locks in freshness.

You can recycle your Jed’s coffee capsules by joining our recycling programme.

After you've enjoyed your cup of Jed’s coffee, collect your used capsules and send them free of charge to TerraCycle to give them a second life. The capsules will be shredded to separate the coffee ground from the aluminium.

The aluminium is then melted in order to make new recycled products.

To help us care for our environment and give a second life to your Jed’s capsules, join today.
